I get muscle cramps and spasms in my feet , legs, &arms. My potassium level is ok…arms lock when stretched..
Tuesday, June 1st, 2010I don’t know what kind of dr. to go to. Dr.s don’t know what to do with me.. they send me to a rheumatoid arthritus dr. They test me, say I’m fine. then I’m back to scratch.. I’m ok with calcium,potassium. when I brake suddenly while driving, my foot goes into trolley horse…I have to stop the car. If I stretch out my arm full length, it locks, when I break the lock, my muscles go into spasm. (SInce it happens when I tense any muscles.. this cramping then also happens at more intimate times too and really curtails that activity ! )
My intuition tells me I either have a dificiency of something.. or muscle atrophy.( I didn’t notice any improvement with excercise program) any thoughts? Thanks

Thursday, May 20th, 2010arthritus.I tried to get on disability,was denied,then had an appeal,denied on that too.Now when I went to re apply,was told I cant cause I havent worked in the past 2 years.DUH..I havent been able to work.Can I still apply and get a lawyer this time ,also for backpay?

Monday, May 17th, 2010I have a diasability policy with Unum provident. I filed a claim 6 months ago. So far they have not approved my claim. I was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritus in March 2005. It has been a long painful process. My Rheumatologist has prescribed methotrexate and humira. These are two vey strong medications used to treat moderate to severe rheumatoid arthritus. If not treated properly you can become crippled. My doctor has written several times explaining how severe my diesese is. What do I do??
My Mom is taking a medication called Remicade for Rheumatoid/Soriatic Arthritus.?

Monday, May 10th, 2010I’ve been unemployed/ disabled for 6+ years & just recently ongoing back to work. I was diagnosed with osteoporosis, fibromyalgia, and Rheumatoid Arthritis and I currently have a job where I stand for 5-6 hours a day. I was on lyrica & gained 30+ pounds, so I stopped taking that. I have Oxycontin to take so I can sleep, and I only take it when ABSOLUTELY necessary. But, here’s the business, at night my legs and feet hurt so terrible, that I just could weep all night long. I have been trying several uncommon approaches, such as soaking my feet, massage therapy, tiger balm, and someone told me to drink a tiny glass of fill up heated @ night w/ 1 Tables. of white vinegar, and honey in it.(don’t know if that really facility). Does anyone have ANY homeopathic remedies for me to try?
Rheumatoid Arthritus, at my age?
Sunday, May 9th, 2010I’m only 21, but my orthodontist says I may have rheumatoid arthritis in my jaw. I’ve never had any particular pain in my jaw, not tightness or popping when I eat, although I can’t open my mouth all that wide. He’s basing this diagnosis on a couple of x-rays that show a small more readsorbtion of the bone in the condyles of my jaw than should be present. What else could cause deterioration of the jaw joint? Why would arthritus be his initially conclusion? What else could it be?
